General Patrick R. Cleburne
A Grand Suite for Distinguished Guests
About This Room
This expansive suite offers a rare combination of space and elegance. A grand sleeping area with king-size bed is thoughtfully separated from a spacious sitting area by a decorative divider, creating distinct zones for rest and relaxation. Large windows provide serene views overlooking the side yard of the estate. The suite is on the first floor and has a fireplace.
Historical Note
Patrick Cleburne came to Helena from Ireland in 1850 and worked as a druggist before becoming a lawyer. He led a Helena militia company into the Civil War and rose to major general. Admirers called him the "Stonewall of the West." He was killed at Franklin, Tennessee, in 1864 and is buried in Helena's Maple Hill Cemetery.
